IJ GUIDANCE PROGRAM

I - INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

 

A guidance program shall be incorporated into the curriculum to aid students in making informed and responsible decisions and in using effective ways to make decisions. The guidance program shall be conducted by trained personnel and shall provide for the participation of all those staff members who can help students in making school and career plans.

District guidance programs include:

1. coordinated testing program (K-12)

2. personal counseling (K-12)

3. career awareness program (K12)

4. teacher-adviser inservice training in vocational guidance (9-12)

5. vocational guidance and "post-high school planning day" (9-12)

6. student financial aid assistance (11-12)
